UNDERCOVER（アンダーカバー）の2009年秋冬コレクション「Earmuff Maniac期」にリリースされた、希少なアーカイブピースです。上質なウールを使用した厚めの生地を採用した8分丈のスラックス。フロント左腿部分には、Joy divizionの代表的な1stアルバム『Unknown Pleasures（アンノウン・プレジャーズ）』のジャケ写として知られる、パルサー波形のグラフィックアートワークが繊細な同色系のジャガード織りのような独特の質感で大胆に表現されています。また、左の膝下付近にはブランドのアイコニックなシンボルである「稲妻（サンダーボルト）」マークがひっそりと刺繍されており、静かながらも力強いアクセントになっています。特徴は、ジャケットの袖を解体してそのままパンツの裾へと再構築したかのようなテーラードアプローチの裾元ディテールです。高橋盾の卓越した再構築技術とミニマリズムが融合した、アンダーカバーの史の傑作なクロップドパンツです。

Crafted from a substantial, high-quality wool fabric, the trousers feature an eight-tenths cropped length with a structured silhouette. On the front left thigh, the iconic pulsar wave graphic known from Joy Division’s landmark debut album Unknown Pleasures is boldly expressed in a tonal, jacquard-like texture, giving the piece a quiet yet unmistakable visual presence.Near the lower left knee, UNDERCOVER’s iconic thunderbolt motif is subtly embroidered, adding a restrained but powerful accent. One of the most distinctive details is the hem construction, which appears as though the sleeves of a tailored jacket have been deconstructed and rebuilt directly into the trouser hems.Combining Takahashi’s masterful reconstruction technique with a sharp minimalist sensibility, this is one of the standout cropped trouser designs from UNDERCOVER’s archive.
