ヴァージル・アブローが手掛けたルイ・ヴィトンの2022年春夏コレクション「Amen Break」のバスケットボールショーツです。ヒップホップにおけるサンプリングの基礎となった伝説的なドラムブレイクから着想を得たコレクションのアイテムです。鮮やかなライトブルーのメッシュ生地をベースに、両サイドにはイエローとホワイトのライトニングモチーフが施されています。右裾にはアイコニックなLVロゴ、左裾には「00」のナンバリングが配置されています。スポーティなデザインにストリートのエッセンスが融合した、ヴァージル期を代表するピースです。

These are the basketball shorts from the LOUIS VUITTON Spring/Summer 2022 "Amen Break" collection designed by Virgil Abloh. The collection draws inspiration from the legendary drum break that became the foundation of hip-hop sampling. Crafted from vibrant light blue mesh fabric, the shorts feature striking yellow and white lightning motifs on both sides. The right hem is accented with the iconic LV logo, while the left hem displays a "00" numbering. Fusing a sporty design with street essence, it is a representative piece from the Virgil era.
