本アイテムは〈CELINE〉パリ本社にて、2025年のHEDI SLIMANE退任決定後に開催された、限られた関係者のみが招待されたサンプルセールにて販売された極めて希少なサンプル品です。販売数はわずか数点（同型は5点にも満たない）とされ、市場に流通することはまずないコレクターズピースです。

もともとは2019年春夏、HEDI SLIMANEがクリエイティブ・ディレクターとしてCELINEのメンズラインを始動させたファーストコレクションのために制作されたプロトタイプ。レザーアイテムの制作数が想定を大きく超過したため、ショーやオフィシャルプロダクトとしては発表・展開されることがなかった幻のモデルです。

HEDI退任を機に、この未公開モデルが特別に解禁されたという稀有な背景を持ち、CELINEおよびスリマンアーカイブの歴史的文脈においても非常に重要な位置を占める一着です。

ジャケットはHEDIが得意とするシャープなクロップドシルエットに、長めのスリーブラインを組み合わせ、着用者の身体を細く長く見せる構築的デザイン。リアルな質感を再現したパイソンエンボス加工のレザーが、退廃的でありながらグラマラスな存在感を放ちます。スナップボタン、ジップポケット、袖口のカフディテールまで完璧に計算された作りで、スリマンの美学をそのまま具現化したような仕上がり。

This piece is an extremely rare sample item, sold exclusively at the CELINE Paris headquarters during a private internal sample sale following the announcement of Hedi Slimane’s departure in 2025. Only a handful of invited individuals had access to this event, and it was reported that fewer than five pieces of this exact model were ever made available.

Originally produced for the 2019 Spring/Summer collection, which marked Hedi Slimane’s first menswear season at CELINE, the jacket was part of an early prototype lineup. During production, an excess number of leather garments were created, leading this particular piece to remain unreleased—it never appeared in the runway show nor was it made an official retail product.

However, as Slimane’s departure was confirmed, this previously unseen model resurfaced and was offered exclusively through the confidential sample sale, making it one of the most significant and elusive CELINE archive pieces to date.

The jacket embodies Slimane’s signature aesthetic—a cropped, sharply tailored silhouette with elongated sleeves that create a sleek and elongated body line. Crafted from high-grade leather with python-embossed texture, it radiates a decadent yet refined rock allure. Details such as the snap-button closure, zip pockets, and cuff construction reflect the meticulous precision and elegance synonymous with Slimane’s design language.
